About the course

Mind Basti was a labour of deliberation across several discussions with experienced mental health practitioners to create what is essentially an "Introduction to Mental Health" workshop through various mindfulness and grounding techniques. Stress and anxiety have become synonymous with individuals across all age groups, and we believe the most effective way to tackle this is to educate ourselves about the way our minds function.

No matter how advanced or evolved humans may think we are, there are several occasions when we return to our caveman mentality! We've all impulsively binged on unhealthy food or been caught off-guard by the manager or teacher when we weren't paying attention, but did you know all these minor instances of not being in the present moment could snowball into larger problems of eating disorders or social anxiety down the line?

 

Developing a good state of mental health takes time and practice, just like going to the gym. Join Mind Basti and unleash the power of your own mind; you just might be surprised by how much you can learn!
